Mette earned a Bachelor degree from Aalborg University in Industrial Design Engineering this included an exchange study at Eindhoven Technical University. After graduating, Mette did an internship at a Danish lifestyle company, &tradition, where she mainly did product development and quality inspection. Later she moved to the small award winning design consultancy Harrit-Sørensen to do people-centered research, furniture- and healthcare design.

Mette cherishes the rich Scandinavian design heritage while her mindset remains future-oriented. Her creativity draws on building and testing, and building again. Her passion for innovation has lead her to becoming an interaction designer, thus aiming at enhancing people’s experience of technology.

She is a great advocate of thinking outside the box and breaking boundaries – but her Nordic roots help to keep her ideas simple and lean.
