Helle Rohde Andersen

Country: Denmark
Area of Expertise: Informations Studies, Design Research and Service Design

Coming from a varied and multidisciplinary background involving writing, fashion, teaching and a B.A. in information studies, Helle has increasingly found her core interest and passion to be made up by the field of design.

After completing her B.A. in information studies, Helle landed a full-time position at the award winning Danish design agency, Hatch & Bloom as a design researcher and concept developer. In Hatch & Bloom, Helle worked with strategic communication and comprehensive service design projects for clients in both the public and private sector.

Eager to pursue her academic career and develop her skills, Helle started her Masters in information studies, taking courses in interaction design, design-anthropology and sociological courses on science, technology and society studies.

Passionate about the design process as a problem-solving and problem-setting activity, Helle enrolled at CIID to develop herself as a reflective practitioner – combining her academic and professional background with thoughtful design practice.
