The stuff I’m made of

This was a 2 week-long exploration of a quantifiable world in images.

While being a learning exercise around Flash, this course offered the possibility to explore the data our lives are made of.

I took this opportunity to dive into my very own visual and symbolic universe, and to focus on personal issues – how do I rate the emotional value of the things I carry with me everyday / what country should I raise my first child in – through an iPhone app and an interactive questionnaire.

Tapping in different types of information – data sheets, reports and soft data gathered through interviews – the applications created used an array of visual and interactive techniques: vector drawings, bar charts, photo-manipulation, GUI and more, demonstrating the true value of multimedia.

Also featured, a graphic report on the book Maeda and Media.
