Micol Galeotti

Nationality: Italian
Area of Expertise: Architecture

Micol was born and raised in Italy and she spent the last six years in Venice studying Architecture at Università IUAV di Venezia.

During her academic career, she has taken part in different workshops and collaborated with institutions such as the Biennale di Venezia and La Triennale di Milano, and personalities such as Christian Kerez and Arata Isozaki.

Her interests branched from architecture early on, and she has been keen on pursuing them. She attended courses at the International School of Graphics in Venice and at the Bottega del Tintoretto. Other constant passions include sailing and photography.

During her experience at TU Delft, she came in contact with Interaction Design, attending Hyperbody Design Studio: Non-Standard and Interactive Architecture. Once graduated she tried to put her knowledge at use at Master Sails, the sail making company where she is currently working.

She is a goal-oriented perfectionist with a great eye for detail. At CIID, she looks forward to learn more about programming and prototyping as much as coming in contact with cool people with different areas of expertise and backgrounds in a fertile environment for new ideas.
