Video as a Common Everyday Language and Format

Bridging between the past and the future, students were asked to make a ‘video card’ about their current status of being close to leave DKDS in order to start a new work/study path.

Teaching Methods and Learning Phases

This workshop was a very intense, full immersion and high-speed program of lectures and assignments. Mornings were dedicated to learning new skills and knowledge through presentations and demonstrations by the faculty, while the afternoons were dedicated to the executions of the assignments. Participants were exposed to the following learning phases:

* Basic use of video making and editing software
* Creativity session about the key message
* Group work
* Story boarding
* Review and reflection session on the final video work

Deliverables

* Message Statement: Max. 200 words
* Storyboard: sequence of scenes/frames
* Final video

Participants presented the video and received feedback from the faculty and invited guests.
