Diginet Øresund with Dansk Arkitektur Center, Link Up and CIID have launched a project for service-design and social architecture:

Supported by the EU Social Fund, the project is built up around 6 companies, each providing a challenge within product design, service-design and social architecture.

Over a period of 6 months each company collaborates with a design company and an architectural firm, forming an interdisciplinary team to find new solutions to the specific challenges. A special focus is placed on the customer and user.

Objectives are to:

• Build a long-term cooperation between companies and designers/architects
• Teach the participating companies about user-driven innovation solutions
• Highlight new scope for design and architecture competences
• Arrange the experience and results to support the establishment of new collaborations

The participants will present their solutions at the Dansk Arkitektur Center on April 11th 2008.
