Designing Inclusive Digital Financial Services
Adam will discuss how digital channels are being used to promote financial inclusion amongst people with little or no access to traditional bank services and why access to formal financial services can help lift people out of poverty. He will share his experiences as an interaction designer working on new products and services in countries like Bangladesh, Mozambique, Pakistan and Uganda.
Adam Little is a consultant with GRID Impact, a social enterprise that uses behavioral science and human-centered design to create scalable social impact for clients working in the areas of financial inclusion, agriculture, water and sanitation, education, and alternative energy. He has worked with a number of microfinance institutions and other social enterprises that use mobile money to give their customers better access to life-changing services.
