Meredith currently works for the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) as a Social Investments Specialist providing guidance on the social aspects for its Impact Investing Initiative and leading efforts on UNOPS crowdfunding pilot platform. Before joining the team in Copenhagen, Meredith worked on broader partnerships engagement and outreach for UNOPS in New York.
Prior to joining UNOPS, Meredith served with the Peace Corps in Mongolia, managing a number of educational development projects focused on health issues and cultural awareness. She has also conducted field research on gender and youth development issues in Senegal as well as interviewed survivors of the Khmer Rouge Regime while advising local NGOs on at-risk populations and human rights issues in Cambodia. Her work with the American Red Cross included family reunifications as a result of armed conflict. Through supporting the UK’s Consul General, Meredith worked out of Chicago on building partnerships in Midwestern states with a number of organizations and companies while addressing various political, commercial, security and economic issues.
Meredith holds a BA in International Development from Miami University of Ohio, and a Masters in Violence, Conflict and Development from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London. She received a certificate in Advanced Project Management from Stanford University.
