OPEN Lecture: Carlos Katastrofsky

Carlos Katastrofsky is an artist, based in austria/europe. working primarily in the field of new media art, the areas of exploration include netart, (interactive) installations, software art and the possibilities of web- elements as cultural tools. He is co-founder of CONT3XT.NET, based in vienna.

Carlos will talk about some of cont3xt.net’s investigations and current project/upcoming exhibitions. He will discuss the concept of exhibiting new media art, what he’s developing in this field and how his artistic work led him there.
